A pitch contest “WE AT CHALLENGE” aiming to become Asia’s largest Well-Being festival will be held in TIB on November 27, 2024!

“WE AT” aim to accumulate economic capital, natural capital, human capital, and social capital, which form the basis of a well-being economy, keeping in mind the categories of the “well-being framework” proposed by the OECD. We will support startup businesses and projects of companies and research institutions that contribute to accumulation.
As part of this effort, we have decided to hold the first “WE AT CHALLENGE”. The final pitch event will be held in TIB in TOKYO on November 27, 2024.

Entry to “WE AT CHALLENGE”

Since we believe that Well-Being encompasses a wide variety of fields, we have in mind the structure of “WE AT CHALLENGE” with multiple tracks. We are currently planning to open three entry tracks.

We also plan to invite entries from a variety of positions in each track, including startups, students, and in-house entrepreneurs.

Details of this event will be announced at the end of June 2024.

Track #1 “Liveability”

Severe global warming and rapid biodiversity loss are threatening the very foundations of human existence. In addition to energy issues, agriculture and food are also components of these threats WE AT pursues low-carbon solutions based on advanced technologies, including carbon capture, utilization, and storage, clean energy processes, biotechnology, and advanced materials, to rapidly decarbonize the planet and create a livable environment WE AT is committed to creating a livable environment by rapidly decarbonizing the planet.

Track #2「Healthy Life」

The basis of human well-being is good health throughout life. Recent remarkable advances in life sciences have led to the development of deep tech technologies to treat aging and achieve a long and healthy life. We recommend proposals for healthcare businesses that use the combination of these life science technologies and digital technologies.

Track #3「Living & City」

People spend their lives shaping their lives by receiving education, starting families, meeting various people, and working in cities and local communities. There is a need for smart cities that aim to improve the well-being of the people living there. We recommend business proposals that utilize digital technologies that ensure safety and elemental technologies that complement these technologies.
