TBS Holdings Joins “WE AT” to Build a Cross-Sector Innovation Ecosystem for Well-being

WE AT General Incorporated Association (“WE AT”), a nonprofit alliance dedicated to advancing the well-being industry through large-scale solutions to global social challenges, today announced that TBS Holdings, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Ryujiro Abe; “TBS”) has joined the organization. Together with the founding members—three universities and eleven partner companies—WE AT and TBS will collaborate to build and expand a world-class innovation ecosystem that supports entrepreneurs pursuing well-being.

Building a Global Startup Platform for Well-being

Founded in May 2024, WE AT works in line with the OECD Well-being Framework to foster startups and research projects that accumulate economic, natural, human, and social capital. By connecting leading universities—including The University of Tokyo and Kyoto University—with major corporations and venture investors, WE AT provides entrepreneurs with resources for discovery, growth, and global impact.

TBS joins the alliance under its group philosophy of “Timeless Value,” which focuses on creating world-standard content and delivering it across broadcast, streaming, and multiple platforms to audiences worldwide. Through WE AT, TBS will discover promising startups, link them to international networks, and apply the TBS Group’s solutions and reach to nurture innovations that move hearts and minds.
