Selection Criteria

Based on a total assessment of factors such as whether the team is currently (or will be) running a well-being business
that tackles global social issues, their strong commitment to well-being, and the potential of their business.

Open to anyone - startups, students, researchers, enterprise projects, individuals, and organizations, who have a vision for global business expansion.

There are 2 ways to apply : (1) Free Format Application, and (2) Specified Format Application. Neither option is advantageous / disadvantageous, so please choose whichever suits you best.

(1) Free Format Application

You can apply with any format without restrictions on document structure, page order, or file format, etc.
The language used should be either Japanese or English.
However, please include the following items in your materials, as we are particularly interested in these for the 1st selection. (Please note that in option (2) Specified Format Application, these items are already covered in the downloadable PowerPoint.)

  • team members, organization overview
  • social issues to focus on and background to the focus
  • the service or idea which solves the above social issues
  • image of solving social issues through the service or idea
  • growth scenario
  • differences from competitors
  • business model
  • connection between your business and well-being

The submitted materials will be used for the 1st selection (document screening). If you advance to the 2nd or final selection, you are welcome to use different presentation materials, etc.
If you are submitting more than 2 files, please combine all files into a single .zip file before submission.
The submitted file name should follow the format : TrackNumber_OrganizationName_Name_Date_verX (with the extension being). Example : Track1_ABCDEcorp_TaroYamada_20250725_ver1.pptx. If submitting a zip file, please use the above format for the zip file name as well.
If you are submitting any videos, such as a business introduction or concept video, do not submit the video files. Instead, upload the videos to a cloud service and include the URL in your submission materials.
After the application deadline, during the 1st selection period, we may ask some applicable participants to provide an additional brief explanatory video of several minutes.

(2) Specified Format Application

This is the application way using the WE AT specified format. Since the start of the application process, we are using this way, but we relaxed the requirements of application document.
Please download the specified format PowerPoint file from the URL below, fill in the required fields, and submit it. This format includes items we are particularly interested in for the 1st selection, so we encourage you to actively provide your responses. (Please note that in the case of (1) Free Format Entry, we are also requesting responses to these items.) You are welcome to add items or pages or make changes to the layout or design.

The language used should be either Japanese or English. PowerPoint versions are available in both Japanese and English.

Main changes: Changes to items, page count, layout, design, and format are now permissible.

This track is for challengers who face the Earth and strive to realize its well-being through reducing greenhouse gases, controlling carbon, saving and clean energy, improving and utilizing the environment of air, water, and soil, etc. There is a particular affinity with businesses plans that aim to expand into the Southeast Asian market or enter the Japanese market.
