Will the winner be determined by each Track?
Yes. We will decide the winning team for each track and give each team a winning prize.
What is the nature of the winning prize?
It is a non-equity fund that does not require exchange of shares in exchange for funding. The same applies to other prizes, etc.
Can I apply multiple Tracks?
No, please select one Track on the application website.

It says that the final pitch is in English only, but can I apply in Japanese?
For application that advance to the final selection, we plan to provide support for travel expenses to the selection venue.
We are applying from an area other than Tokyo. If we advance to the final selection, would you support transportation expenses?
Yes, you can apply in Japanese. Your application will be translated into English during the process up to the final pitch.
We are applying from a country other than Japan. If we advance to the final selection, would you support transportation expenses?
For overseas application that advance to the final selection, we plan to provide support including travel expenses to Japan.

Track 1
Planetary Well-being Innovations for One Earth
Global warming and destruction of the natural environment are becoming more serious day by day, threatening the very basis of survival for all life, including humankind. This track is for challengers who face the Earth and strive to realize its well-being through reducing greenhouse gases, controlling carbon, saving and clean energy, improving and utilizing the environment of air, water, and soil, etc. There is a particular affinity with businesses plans that aim to expand into the Southeast Asian market or enter the Japanese market.
The following teams welcome applications
The applicant must be a startup that commercializes technology and ideas, or a team that is planning to commercialize it, with the fight against global warming in mind.
A team with technological capabilities and a vision to expand into the Asian / global market.
Track 2
Human Well-being Enriching Lives and Health for People Around the World
The foundation of human well-being lies in maintaining good health across one’s lifespan. We welcome proposals that broadly contribute to physical, mental, social, and economic well-being, encompassing diverse wellness initiatives—from technologies and ideas that enhance quality of life, embrace individuality and diversity, foster belonging and social connection, to cutting-edge life sciences and deep tech solutions that enable healthy longevity.

Startups or project teams aiming to commercialize wellness-related technologies or concepts.
Teams with distinctive, innovative technologies or business ideas that show high feasibility and strong potential in the global market.
The team must have outstanding technology, innovative business ideas, a global market, and high effectiveness.
Track 3
Social Well-being Living Together: Building Inclusive Cities and Communities
Well-being is built on respect for individuals, meaningful social connections, mental fulfillment, and a
strong sense of safety and security.
This track is for challengers who offer services that promote diversity, equity and inclusion, propose
ideas that support community-building, regional revitalization, and smart city development, and develop
technologies that support daily life and enable everyone to live with a sense of fulfillment.
We encourage proposals that aim to build a sustainable future by promoting social inclusion,
revitalizing communities, and improving quality of life.

A team developing or planning to commercialize technologies or ideas that broadly contribute to diversity, urban development, and enriched living in communities.
A team with a strong motivation for global expansion, possessing social significance that contributes to well-being, as well as innovative and original technologies or business ideas, high feasibility, and strong scalability.
Challenge Track
Creativity Well-being Flourishing our lives through Art & Culture around the world
At WE AT, we regard creativity and cultural activities as vital components of well-being. Art and Culture can move the human spirit, flourish our daily lives, and bring fresh perspectives and energy to society. We, as WE AT Challenge 2025 Creativity Well-Being Track, seek out unexplored possibilities and ideas that could inspire and transform our world.

A team dedicated to bringing fresh perspectives and vitality to society by blending own ideas and sensibilities with every creative element of art and culture, including artworks, art experiences, and cultures and traditions which are located at local area around the world.
